Hi,
Since accidentally stumbling into my high school's video yearbook classroom in 1995, I've been hooked on video. Writing, producing, shooting, editing...I love the the entire process. Sure, sometimes it feels like I'm standing over a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle without a picture, but I love the challenge. It's what drives me to continually build and hone my skills.
Over the last 18 years I've worked with countless clients to create more than a thousand broadcast and web videos. I'm equally comfortable cutting a network promo or an hour-long television show. I enjoy utilizing a wide variety of tools to help my clients achieve their goals - seamlessly switching between Avid, Premiere, and Final Cut software.
I'm currently a PrEditor for the U.S. Department of State where I create web and socially-optimized content to advance world-wide human rights, gender equality, education, and democracy.
Outside of work you can find me hanging out with my wife, Adrienne, at our Alexandria, Virginia home. We live there but our rambunctious dog, Hamilton, and two cats, Winston and Theodore, run the place. For fun I play ice hockey and golf, tend to my ever-expanding garden, and cheer on the Washington Capitals.
